If you're searching for a place to get your fix of all things green, be sure to check out Go Green. The site recently launched an online directory featuring eco-friendly products and services. Business and organizations can showcase their products and services on the site for a small yearly fee, and the site will soon launch an online store where consumers will be able to shop for green products.
Go Green.ae provides green news stories from around the world, demonstrating the steps corporations are taking as part of their commitment to preserving the planet. Several prominent businesses including Panasonic, Toshiba, Discover, Dell, HSBC, Google, Emirates Airlines, Marriott, Nissan and Mazda have green innovations that consumers should be aware of and Go Green wants you to be in the loop regarding what these companies are up to.
The site also offers a Green Heroes section to recognize individuals who have contributed in the fields of renewable energy, energy efficiency and sustainability, while the Green Tube page features recent news-worthy videos, and the Green Podcasts section allows you to tune into series', interviews and stories featuring news, tips and advice about living the good, green life. Go Green also provides tips and ideas for thinking, eating, shopping, building and reading green, as well as a section showing kids where they can go to learn more about their eco-footprint. And if you're wondering about the environmental events happening around the world, the Green Events page will clue you in to what's happening on a global scale.
Go Green recently won the Alternate Energy Award at ADIPEC (Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference) in recognition of its contribution to promote environmental awareness. Check it out after the jump!
