It's no huge surprise that information available on the Internet about green cars is somewhat scattered. After all, alternative fuel vehicles (AFVs) are part of an emerging market and up until a few years ago, a green car usually described the paint job on a vehicle as opposed to its eco-friendly characteristics. However with nearly 70 models available and 11 million vehicles on the road, the AFV industry has taken on a life of it's own. Ken Snoke was aware there were gaps in the information about environmentally-conscious vehicles and it was this realization that inspired his idea for a single location online where people could conveniently research, as well as buy and sell green vehicles.
GreenCarDepot.com specializes in alternative fuel vehicles - that is, any vehicle that does not run exclusively on gasoline - and divides them into easy-to-find categories including hybrid, ethanol, biodiesel, electric, hydrogen, and compressed air. This breakdown allows buyers to easily research the type of vehicle they are searching for and if the exact vehicle isn't available at that time, a free email alert will notify the buyer when one is. The site also has sections for industry-related parts and even careers.
