Good news green hair-care lovers: a new line of styling tools has been developed for the eco-conscious consumer. Pure Heat Tools have been designed to create the beautiful results women are accustomed to from their styling appliances without the same impact on the earth.

The tool collection features essentials including a hair dryer, flat iron (both a cordless and a regular option are available), wet-to-dry iron, 3-in-1 curling iron, a 3-in-1 crimper and brushes.

The tools are made from recycled components and feature energy-saving technology including lower levels of electro-magnetic fields (EMFs), as well as compliance with RoHS requirements, which limit the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical equipment. Beyond energy consumption, Pure Heat products featured reduced packaging made from post-consumer recycled corrugate and cardboard and non-toxic, water-soluble inks. Even the product warranty and instructions are printed on non-toxic, recycled paper.

As part of their earth-friendly commitment, Pure Heat Tools has also joined forces with EarthShare, a nationwide network of non-profit environmental and conservation organizations, and will donate a percentage from the sale of every product to the organization.
