Marchuska offers new "Luxe for Less" eco-friendly clothing line

Thanks to Samantha Zimmer for this story!

Looking for high-quality, completely sustainable clothing that also offers high-fashion style? You can get the best of both worlds with cmarchuska, a new eco-friendly clothing line started by day-trader turned fashion designer Christine Marchuska! Christine is currently working on completing the cmarchuska Signature Collection, which consists of knit basics and super-cute dresses. You can purchase items from www.cmarchuska.com. The cmarchuska Signature Collection is made with care in the NYC garment district. Look for the spring/summer '09 line at the ECOCOLLECTION at the MAGIC fashion trade show this February!

The collection manages to avoid some of the common blunders made by the fashion industry today such as eco-friendly clothing that is lacking in style and cut, generating excessive amounts of waste with fabrics and overpricing those items that are made with sustainable fabrics. Marchuska clothing was designed with high-fashion cuts, a flattering fit, affordability and most importantly, environmental consciousness in mind.

See the cmarchuska Signature Collection at the official website after the jump!

cmarchuska collections are incredibly well made and eco friendly, but also sport some very trendy hot looks. I found when talking with the designer herself that by being eco, is not just a trend for her. Her core values and support for local business show. She is a true up and comer with infinite potential in the fashion world. Just the simple fact that she is going back to a way clothing was made before. Natural products, and no human rights issues. I am a big supporter and fan. I can not wait to see what this smart, savvy, trendy, young ambitious woman has to show the modern fashion world...

I am an avid supporter of cmarchuska designs and I can truly say that Christine Marchuska is an extremley talented young designer with a flare for fashion. It’s true that not only are cmarchuska's designs made from eco-friendly fabrics, but they are also well cut and fitted to flatter women's bodies. I absolutely love wearing the Sylvia dress because it's the new “little black dress” with a stylish, sexy twist unlike anything else I’ve seen. Another great thing about cmarchuska is that her clothing is machine washable -- which means there are no expensive trips to the dry cleaners! Check out cmarchuska.com and see for yourself how great these designs really are.

Leafy Green's Tip of the Day Don't measure your manhood by the size of your toolchest. A shop full of powertools is a waste of money and resources for the average shadetree mechanic or woodworking hobbyist. If it's something you'll only use one or twice a year, why not rent the tools instead? You'll save money and still get to play with your toys on weekends.
