Blast from the Past: The best of The Sexy Vegan

Posted by Pinky Bean on October 11, 2008 8:44 AM Filed Under: Food, Video

Seeing as it's Vegetarian Awareness Month and we've already give you a little taste of the Sexy Vegan earlier this morning, we thought we'd recap some of our favorite moments starring the handsome devil. We - alright the female portion of the Ecollo team anyway - still maintain hope that one day he'll dedicate a video to me us. This guy has developed a small, but loyal fan base with his culinary skills and seductive charm. If you have yet to experience, check out all of his videos (to date) after the jump or by following the individual links.

Attempting to give Brad Pitt a run for his money, The Sexy Vegan makes a post-workout breakfast consisting of tofu scramble and homemade veggie sausage patties, complete with some wicked harmonica playing that will leave you wondering why the drummers always get the girls.

Back when he made Thai Spring Rolls, it was hard to decide which was more appealing - the food or the killer dance moves.

Gin and tonic with hummus? Sure, why not. The guy is even funnier when fuelled by some booze.

Who knew mushing slimy green avocados could be so, well, sexy. Obviously The Sexy Vegan did in his very first episode, where he made guacamole.

Let's not forget the non-recipe videos in which often times the viewer is serenaded. The Sexy Vegan's tribute to Rick Springfield may be one of the favorite videos we've ever posted.

Hmmm, maybe next year we should petition People magazine to give The Sexy Vegan the cover of their annual Sexiest Man Alive issue. We know he'll have at least one solid endorsement. Don't believe us? Watch him singing below and just try to resist, we dare you!

Leafy Green's Tip of the Day Pressure cookers use 50 - 75% less energy than cooking in a normal saucepan, plus they cook food faster! Pressure cookers used to be really popular in the 70's and 80's for their convenience, but were quickly replaced by the microwave. Maybe it's time to bring this ultra-efficient cooking method back into fashion?
