So we've been talking about getting squeaky clean this week and there was one component of a cleaning arsenal that immediately came to my mind: eco-friendly gloves.
Of course, the friendliest thing you can do is suck it up and go glove-free. If you're using diluted, natural cleaners and you're not afraid of getting some grit under your nails then why not? But if you're a germaphobe like me you always put on a pair of rubber gloves before getting down to the business of cleaning your house. And while traditional rubber gloves can last for quite a while there is a better alternative.
Biodegradable Happy Gloves are a completely biodegradable glove that you can use to protect your hands while doing household chores and then toss in your composter when you're finished!
It sounds like a great idea, but I have yet to find these at any retailers here in Canada. Anyone know of any other eco-friendly glove options? Post 'em in the comments!
