After spending the week discussing how you can "re-fashion" your wardrobe at home and make your clothing as eco-friendly as possible, it seemed fitting to pull out some of our past ideas for greening up your closet. For one thing, you can make a pretty nifty-looking leather cuff bracelet from an old belt that's seen better days. Around your waist it may look worn and tired, but on your wrist, it will turn into one cool shabby-chic accessory.
This week also served as a reminder of celebrities who practice the "re-fashion" concept. Take Hayden Panettiere for example, who routinely auctions off items from her own closet to benefit the Save the Whales Again! campaign that she has been actively involved in (and nearly arrested for!). Not only is she recycling her clothing, she's doing it for a great cause!
