* Seven-time Tour de France champion Lance Armstrong was recently revealed as one of the biggest water users in Texas. Armstrong's massive home complete with gardens and a swimming pool used 330,000 gallons of water last month which approximately 38 times more than the average city household during the summer months.
* Australia is encouraging residents to carefully consider the environmental impact their seafood diet has and choose fish that comes from a sustainable green source.
* Speaking of Australia, the Canberra Environment Centre launched a campaign today targeted at managing electronic waste in a way that does not harm the environment. About 1.6 million computers are sent to landfills every year and the campaign will try to educate individuals on better ways to handle E-waste.
* Milex of the Carolinas has developed a biodegradable packaging peanut made from grain protein, pectin and water. The process of creating the produce is also toxin-free and can serve a dual-purpose as a packing peanut and fertilizer on plants, your lawn or garden.
* Spotted: Miley Cyrus eschewing a car or gas-guzzling SUV in favor of her bike (complete with basket!) after breakfast with her family in California this past weekend. Now if only the Disney star would set a good example for young fans and accessorize her outfit with a bike helmet...
