Ever been reading a recipe, stirring something in the frying pan and trying to find the basil in cubbard jammed full of little vials of herbs. Yeah, it's no fun, and the worst part is that once you find it all you have is some 3 year old dust in a bottle. Having your own herb garden handy to pluck fresh, fragrant leaves from is a great experience. Spending a couple bucks and a 30 minute trip to the local gardening center is well worth the effort for the payback you'll receive.
Rita Nader Heikenfeld from AboutEating.com shows us in the video below just how easy it can be.
