Entourage star Adrian Grenier already received an environmental activism award in April but it seems he's not ready to get off of the green train quite yet. Grenier has signed on to co-star in a 13-part series called Alter Eco, set to air on Planet Green starting June 9.
The series will revolve around Grenier and a small team showing people how they can incorporate earth-friendly practices into their lifestyles. First up will be the makeover of Tokio Lounge in Hollywood, which will bear the new name Ecco to reflect its reputation as "Hollywood's first eco-friendly lounge." Features of the sure-to-be-hotspot will include LED lighting, eco-friendly cement, power supplied by LA DWP's Green Power and an organic menu. Even the bathrooms will become earth-conscious by using waterless urinals and air pressure toilets. Stars like Ed Begley Jr. and Leonardo DiCaprio will also be able to take advantage of free valet service to anyone who rolls in driving a hybrid.
Other members on Grenier's makeover team will be Boise Thomas, model Angela Lindvall and Darren Moore, a green renovation guru. Think of it as similar to ABC's Extreme Home Makeover minus the over-the-top drama.
