The first commercial in Al Gore's $300 million global warming awareness campaign has made its official debut. The ad is narrated by actor William H. Macy, who talks about historical actions taken by Americans, who he says, need to do the same regarding climate change.
Over the next three years, Gore's foundation The Alliance for Climate Protection will use online advertising to educate the public about global warming and encourage people to actively work to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Other famous individuals set to lend their support to the "We Campaign" are the Dixie Chicks, Rev. Al Sharpton, country singer Toby Keith and Newt Gingrich.
