With Al Gore telling us we're rapidly destroying the earth for future generations and every single media outlet in the world (or so it seems) focusing on how to live greener, if you're green enough and the terrible things that will happen if you don't go green, it's natural to feel a little stressed. However are you striking the balance between eco-apathy and freaking out because you forgot your stainless steel travel mug at home and will have to resort to using a paper cup at Starbucks for your morning Americano (ahem)?
National Geographic has developed a little quiz to help you determine your eco anxiety level. For example:
The local farmer's market is closed for a holiday, and you can't buy your local, organic apples. You:
a. don't care because you don't shop at the farmer's market anyway.
b. ask your local grocer why he/she doesn't stock local apples.
c. call every store in town trying to find the only one that sells Australian apples, which you heard might have a lower carbon footprint than apples grown in the Northeast.
Don't worry, we won't pass judgement no matter how you answered the question. Take the rest of the quiz by hitting the jump to visit National Geographic's Green Guide.
