My love for shoes is known amongst my inner circle. And by inner circle I mean virtually any person who crosses my path and happens to bring up the topic. Now that March is officially here, I don't feel so terrible about starting to scope out possible options for spring and summer footwear and was thrilled to discover the Simple Shoes website. They carry a line of eco-friendly and vegan (and cute!) options. Now if I could just find a way to sneak them past the shrewd vision of other members of my household...
Pinky's Picks
Cushee (in pink of course!) - Hemp webbing uppers and a recycled rubber outsole are used these fun, casual flip-flops.
Toepaz - As I am unable to tolerate anything with a heel for more than oh, about five minutes, my beloved ballet flats have become a wardrobe "must." This bamboo-lined version with a recycled car-tire outsole may even be considered office appropriate depending where you work and are perfect for anything from your favorite denim capris to a pretty, summery skirt.
Satire-Hemp sneakers - A girl has to be prepared for a rainy day and since I've definitely learned to avoid sandals when the skies open, these hemp "eco-sneaks" will keep me dry and comfortable.
