Not only is lavender a prime choice for aromatherapy treatments, now it can help keep you smelling your best all day too. Jo Fairley's recipe for lavender deodorant combines essential oils with lavender and rose petals to provide a fresh and completely natural scent. Best of all, it's easy to make and if you buy a bigger bottle of vodka, you can likely find a good use for whatever leftovers you have that aren't needed for this recipe.
Ingredients
250ml vodka
50g dried lavender
50g fresh rose petals
10 drops lavender essential oil
10 drops rose essential oil
Pour the vodka over the flowers and petals and add the essential oils, drop by drop. Allow to infuse for 3 weeks, then strain and use in an atomiser in place of your regular deodorant.
