Kate Hudson tries to incorporate eco-friendly living into her glamorous Hollywood lifestyle (though she owns more than one vehicle, at least one of them is a Prius). Kate is also known her for bohemian-chic style and natural beauty, so it comes as no surprise that she has decided to combine these two elements in one of her latest projects.
Kate worked with David Babaii, her long-time hairstylist, to develop a line of hair care products that contain no parabens, sulfates or animal products. Ten percent of the profits from the sale of the products benefit WildAid, a non-profit conservation organization with a focus on global wildlife. The grop works with goverments and communities to bring awareness to the devastation that is affecting wildlife creatures.
Says Hudson, who will be featured in the print campaign for the product, "I've been asked to do a lot of campaigns in the past and this feels like the perfect fit for me. David is the best at what he does and he's put so much of himself into the development of this line. And the fact that we can do it in an ecologically responsible and animal-friendly manner that can help preserve wildlife is what makes this truly special."
