Crystal Lampe really loves mineral makeup, but isn't a fan of the high prices and monthly automated shipments associated with some brands. She was convinced she could produce her own that would rival the quality of well-known brands, but with a more affordable price tag. The result of her efforts is Beauty From The Earth, a mineral cosmetics company that now has a fan (and spokesperson) in Melissa Jones, a first-season cast member of ABC's reality television show Extreme Makeover.  Since the company's inception, Crystal has also appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show and Entertainment Tonight to promote her products.

The line includes mineral foundation in several shades, as well as blush, eyeshadow, bronzer and mineral veil, which can be used as a finishing powder or a foundation for those who prefer sheer coverage.
