Last year PETA named Carrie Underwood and The Tonight Show's Kevin Eubanks as the Sexiest Vegetarian Woman and Man respectively for 2007. Now they're giving you the opportunity to vote for the Sexiest Vegetarian Next Door 2008.

The field has been narrowed to 16 female and 16 male contestants who prove that you can still be healthy and sexy while abstaining from the consumption of meat and meat products. These individuals come from all walks of life and include students, dancers, teachers, athletes, musicians, nutrition consultants and medical professionals. Every one of them has a different reason for following a vegetarian diet, be it an opposition to animal cruelty or for health reasons.

The winners of the contest will receive an all-expenses paid trip to Hawaii (but will it be carbon neutral?), so head over to GoVeg.com to cast a vote for your choice of sexy vegetarian.
