Update your wardrobe with Urban Renewal

Posted by Pinky Bean on February 13, 2008 3:19 AM Filed Under: Clothes, Shopping

As Valentine's will soon be here and over with, it's a great time to start thinking about your spring wardrobe. The term "spring cleaning" was coined for a reason - go through your closet and pull out any spring and summer apparel you didn't wear last season. Make sure you don't throw it away as there are many organizations who take donations of used clothing and accessories and will find a good home for the things currently stuffed in the back of the closet that have long since been forgotten about.

Now that you'll have some extra room, you may be looking to update your wardrobe with a few new pieces and fortunately Urban Outfitters has you covered (literally). The clothing chain has an entire line made from recycled fabrics. Not only are the items made from reused material, they're cute, unique and some are even on sale (one of my favorite words in the English language)!

Pinky's Picks

Plaid Wool Tote Bag - The perfect size for fitting your hairbrush, compact and lunch and dressy enough to take to work.

Urban Renewal Chantilly Dress - When the heat is almost too much to bear, this light color and fabric will keep you nice and cool. Just don't forget to find  a slip or dress to go underneath this sheer piece or you may be exposing more than Britney Spears on her way to a convenience store.

Plaid Wool Mini Skirt - Pair with knee-high boots until the weather is warm enough to switch to a wedge heel in the later spring months.

Visit the Urban Outfitter website to see the entire Urban Renewal line for a kick-start to your new seasonal wardrobe.
