Organic hair care by Nature's Gate

Posted by Pinky Bean on February 12, 2008 6:19 AM Filed Under: Beauty

I didn't actually realize I liked tea tree oil shampoo until I bought a salon brand for my partner-in-crime and ended up using more of it than he did. I know there are critics out there who hate the tingly feeling that comes with some tea tree-based products, but I love how refreshing it feels and the way it seemed to rid my hair of product build-up, thus reviving its color. In fact it apparently worked so well that a few people asked if I had recently gotten highlights (I hadn't).

Therefore you can imagine why I'm fairly enthusiastic when I find organic tea tree options. Nature's Gate has an entire line of organic hair care products made using certified organic botanicals and the Tea Tree Oil & Blue Cypress Soothing Shampoo and Conditoner is made especially for those suffering an itchy, dry scalp. In fact nothing they sell contains animal ingredients or by-products. The company also makes sure their packaging is environmentally friendly, utilizing recyclable containers or recycled materials.

If tea tree isn't your thing, don't despair because the hair care products from Nature's Gate range from fortifying for fragile, delicate hair to shine-enhancing for dull, lifeless hair and even rejuvenating for damaged, chemically-treated hair.

Check out their website to view the entire organic hair care line!
