Aman is no longer kept in the dark

Posted by Pinky Bean on February 26, 2008 3:31 PM Filed Under: Animals

Aman the organutan has a whole new outlook on life. The formerly blind animal was the first of his kind to undergo successful bilateral cataract surgery and now has his vision back. The 20-year old lives in Kubah National Park in Sarawak, Malaysia and the Matang Wildlife Centre is expected to release him back into the wild once he has fully recovered.

That is until the poor thing gets home and discovers he unknowingly mated with the ape equivalent of Rosie O'Donnell and promptly hightails it back to the centre and demands they plunge him into darkness once more.
