Buy Brad Pitt's shirt

Posted by Pinky Bean on December 5, 2007 3:21 AM Filed Under: Clothes, Shopping

Okay, maybe it’s not actually Brad’s shirt. But you can still own one just like his, plus purchase other apparel with proceeds going towards Pitt’s Make It Right project. The project endeavors to rebuild homes in New Orleans’ Lower 9th Ward that were destroyed by Hurricane Katrina two years ago.

The Make It Right t-shirts maintain the same green theme of the homes being rebuilt. They are made from 100 per cent certified organic cotton with low-impact dyes used to achieve the assorted colors available. Eco friendly printing techniques, including the use of water-based, PVC/phthalate-free inks, were used in the artwork featured on the shirts.

The MIR pink tote is composed of Earthtex, an environmentally friendly, fully recyclable, VOC-free (volatile-organic compound) fabric, and again uses PVD/phthalate-free ink printing. The totes - which are available in two sizes, small and large – were manufactured in the New Orleans Lighthouse for the Blind. You can even buy a hat similar to the one Pitt wears in the video on the MIR introduction page.

Washboard abs and millionaire girlfriend not included with purchase.
