In the Western world, and especially North America, fast food is a part of life. I'm not going to argue that the Wendy's Baconator or the Hardee's thousand-calorie Country Breakfast Burrito are good for you. Heck, I won't even tell you not to eat them. But we should all be more aware of what we put into our mouths. Where does our food come from, what's in it, and what is the environmental impact of our food choices?
Our food reflects our culture. Fast food is the embodiment of the American dream. It's cheap, low quality, unhealthy, produced on a massive scale, and full of public hairs. (That's so gross!)
