People are dumb.  Santa Clauses in Sydney Australia have been forbidden from bellowing a jolly "Ho Ho Ho!" this Christmas and have been instructed to instead shout "Ha Ha Ha!"

Why?  Well, the Aussies don't like that "Ho" is a slang term for "whore".  They're worried that women will be offended and children will be scarred for life by hundreds of Santas screaming "Whore!!! Whore... whore!" on the streets of Sydney like a mob of perverted maniacs in red suits.

Kids know exactly what "Ho Ho Ho" means: it's Santa's jolly laugh.  As supposedly responsible, intelligent adults empowered with making decisions, dumb stuff like this almost make me lose faith in humanity... or at least in Australians.
