Gore-lovers have plans to air a TV commercial begging him to run for President

Posted by Leafy Green on November 2, 2007 4:19 AM Filed Under: Life

Politically, Al Gore is simply an out-and-out stud.  He's not even running and he's already in second place for the Democratic nomination.  Gore may want no part of the next Presidential election, but that's not stopping the "Draft Gore" people from running a television ad to coax him out of hiding.

The television spot encourages people to harrass the heck out of Al Gore until he caves-in and runs for president:

"Imagine what tomorrow can be. Imagine a renewed world, an end to the war in Iraq. Imagine Al Gore as president ... Call him. Write him. Seize the moment''

Are these people crazy?  Do they have an Al Gore fetish?  Or do these kinds of tactics make sense?

I'm not sure... all I know is that the picture of Al Gore I posted with this article sure isn't very flattering... yeesh!

Shame on him,(Al Gore). Together with Clinton he already has changed the climate in Serbia with uranium bombs. People in Serbia are dying from cancer every day “due to” his concern for healthy environment.
And he won the Nobel Peace Prize. What a pity...

Leafy Green's Tip of the Day Did you know the average American generates 20 tons of CO2 per year? To turn back the clock on climate change we each need to reduce our carbon footprints to 2 1/2 tons per year - no small feat! Find a carbon calculator online and check it every few months to see if you're making progress towards the 2 1/2 ton goal.
