While looking for pictures of topless Zulu tribeswomen I accidentally came across a dusty old National Geographic article from 2004 with tips on having a Green Christmas. Here are their tips, all tree-related:
1. Consider a potted, live fir tree or a farmed tree instead of an artifical or forested tree.
2. Recycle your tree by taking it to one of the numerous woodchipping services that operate after the Christmas holidays.
3. Replace your old Christmas tree lights with energy-efficient LEDs.
Short list, good tips.
