Whether Al Gore exclusively wins the Nobel Peace Prize or has to share it with Canadian Inuit environmentalist Sheila Watt-Cloutier, "Draft Gore" enthusiasts see this as the perfect event that should logically lead to the last-minute announcement of Gore's candidacy for President.

It would be a dramatic political move, and a smart one, as Gore seems positioned to bowl-over the competition through sheer popularity.  Of course, winning the popular vote didn't do him much good 8 years ago.

Expectations are high.  We'll all just have to wait until Friday when the winners are announced to see what Al Gore's next move will be.
