Announced back in January of this year, this is old news in England but is largely unheard of in North America. Food retailer Tesco is working with Oxford University to assign a
carbon rating to each of the 70,000 producs offered through its stores. Now, consumers will be able to compare carbon costs as easily as comparing calories.
