Not everyone has access to organic grocery chains or the time to make shopping runs to three different stores to get what we need. Sometimes you just want to pop into Wal-Mart and get something cheap that can get the job done. So the perfect choice for a laundry detergent would be one that was cheap, environmentally-friendly and available at your local grocery store, right?
Thanks to Arm & Hammer, now you don't have to choose between "green" and "convenient". The Arm & Hammer Essentials line includes laundry detergent and fabric softener sheets. The laundry detergent contains only biodegradable plant-based soaps, which is very handy for people with septic tanks at home. What's even more impressive is what the detergent doesn't contain: no dyes, no phosphates, no bleach and no petroleum-based products. They use minimal packaging and the bottle is made of HDPE #2 recyclable plastic.
So the next time you're two-thirds of the way though your grocery list and you're running down the laundry aisle to grab detergent, keep your eyes peeled for a translucent green bottle with the Arm & Hammer logo on the front. It's an eco-freindly that's easy to make.
