Most people think that driving an environmentally friendly car means hatchbacks, compacts, bubble headlights and a lack of luxury. Most people also don't have $130,000 or more to spend on a family sedan. However, if you are one of those people then Lexus has just the car for you: the LS 600h L.
The 600h is a massive, heavy 4-door with a 438 horsepower 5.0-litre V8 and supplementary electric motors, this "green" luxury land yacht claims "the power of a V12 with the fuel economy of a V6". So you won't exactly be preventing the ice caps from melting with the fuel economy from this Maybach-sized lead sled. However, if you opt for the $159,000 Premium Executive option equipped with Shiatsu massage seats, DVD entertainment centre and Mark Levinson audio system you can relax in luxury knowing that although you may only get about 11 litres per 100 km, at least your car has a "hybrid" logo on it.
