According to a recent MarketTools poll published in The Scotsman, nearly half of shoppers do not trust the organic labels on products at their local markets. Scepticism is highest among organic shoppers themselves, with 50% of those who bought organic products doubting their authenticity versus 47% of those who did not regularly buy organic goods.
