Introducing the Authors

Pinky Bean Pinky is a professional full-time writer who stared with Ecôllo in November of 2007. She is obsessed with coffee, clothes, cosmetics... and pretty much anything else that's girly or caffeinated.

Leafy Green Leafy has been here since the very beginning. Several years ago Leafy brought his West Coast values to the Canadian praries and soon discovered that you don't have to be a hard core "environmentalist" to live an eco-friendly life.

CeeBee CeeBee isn't an average cute orange blob. He's a cute orange blob who bicycles into work everyday, loves the outdoors, and takes every opportunity he can to get outside and do something fun.

About Ecôllo

We started Ecôllo wa-a-a-ay back in September 2007 in an earnest attempt to reach out to everyday eco-conscious people (like you!). Within a few short months our humble little site was on the path to successfully reaching hundreds of thousands of regular people looking to do just a little something to make a difference.

There is a lot of doom and gloom out there when it comes to the state of our planet, and to be honest it’s a bit of a downer.  After all, what can we do to stop global warming?  Should we build mud huts and live off of organic radishes and walnuts until someone else figures this thing out?  There has got to be a better way.

We promise that we’ll try not to be too political, scientific, or preachy. Our goal is to be equal parts informative, entertaining, interesting and funny... with a little bit of opinion thrown in for good measure.

Ecôllo is just starting out and we’d appreciate your help in growing Ecôllo to its fullest potential.  You can do that by visiting often, posting your comments and by sending us your own stories.
